iOS7 travel app for Graphic Designers in Jakarta

Brief:

In this Graphic Interactive Design 2 Project, We were asked to create an iPhone application for Graphic Designers in Jakarta. I decided to create an iPhone iOS7 travel app. The travel app itself contains useful information for the Graphic Designers who stay in Jakarta. The app itself is called JakartaTravel.

The Struggle:
While doing the project there were some obstacles. I am using flinto for the iOS7 prototype application.

1. The obstacle for using this iOS prototype is that the prototype does not have the function of scrolling, so that the app prototype cannot scroll. I was planning to make some text in a layout to scroll, but then i decided to make the text smaller so no need to scroll the text.



2. The second obstacle is the left top button. 

This particular function button here doesn't work well in this screen below:

The function button slide to the right when pressing it. But when we press the function button from this screen it couldn't go back to the previous screen before the function button was pressed.

3. The buttons inside the iPhone app can't change color when we try to press the button inside the iPhone app. The function in the FLINTO website does not have the function of changing color while tapping the button.

The need for improvement:

Of course, there will be the need for improvement for the iPhone app itself.

1. The first improvement is the color scheme for the application. I think that the color for the app is kind of dull and creating the user (Graphic Designers who live in Jakarta) sleepy. I should choose more interesting colors for the app itself.

2. The second improvement is finding the right iPhone app prototype machine, so that we can create the app more interesting just like the REAL THING in iPhone.

3. The third improvement is that we should manage the production time more wisely, due to the limited time, we can only do limited things for the app itself.
